Northern Fights are an Alt-Country/Roadhouse Rock band looking for a lead guitarist to join us. We are three guys in our late 20's and early 30's who aren't looking to be stars, just to have a little fun drinking beers and playing some good music.

We get together 3-4 times a month for rehearsals and a live show every three months or so. We play mostly originals with influences in the vein of Waylon Jennings, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Son Volt, Slobberbone, and Lynard Skynard.

Hi. We are — as described in the title — a complete mismatch of personalities, talents and ideas. Strangely, it seems to work.

We are looking for a drummer who can really bloody play, who isn't a dramatic fool, who doesn't have ego-problems (either too much or too little) and who wants to join what looks to become one of the coolest freaking bands ever. Sorry for saying it myself … but it's true and I'd be an idiot not to acknowledge it.

We are an all-original power trio looking for a drummer. We play music that combines the power of AC/DC and Pearl Jam with the sing along hooks of Wham and Counting Crows and the storytelling of Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. Seriously, take five minutes to listen to at least the first minute of each of our songs and you'll see what I mean.

We are looking for a drummer who can keep great time and play relatively simple beats with some flash here and there. We are around 40 years old and look young and feel young and act young. You should be the same.

We will play twice per week, either rehearsing or playing live. We set a date and time for rehearsals and we show up on time and prepared. No excuses.

We give you CDs of the songs you need to learn. Just get the groove of the songs with the changes and keep good time, are you're all set. We just ask that you keep it simple.

We have a 24/7 rehearsal space downtown. I pay 100% of the rent. When we start playing out, you can have $100 per night or 1/3 of the take, whichever is greater. We have CDs to sell too. We'll make sure you get paid.

About us:

We have been together for a little over a year. In that time we have managed to gain a pretty good following. We strive very hard not to be labeled as a specific type of metal band, but instead write music that incorporates all aspects of the genre. Major influences include but are not limited to: Pantera, Lamb of God, Mudvayne and Tool.
