Hey folks, I'm a singer/rhythm guitarist available for a straight up rock'n'roll band. I have been playing for years but only been in a few bands. Looking to start a new project or join an existing group. My singing influences include bands like the black crowes, blind melon, and led zeppelin. I have good range and solid foundation. I've been a karaoke junkie for years (red flags! ahhhhh!!) but that shouldn't scare you, I'm actually good at what I do! I have pro-gear, and pro-attitude to boot! Please contact me via email or you can give me a call @ 763-205-5887, ask for Aaron.

Award-winning singer/ violinist seeks exceptional keyboardist w/ vocs for pop/rock band

posted: November 19, 2009, 11:54 AM

Hello Keyboardist With Vocals,
Are you exceptional at your craft? I am looking for a superb keyboardist with vocals for a five-piece pop/rock-with-a-rockin'-violin band. This group of talented musicians performs a 65/35 ratio of covers/originals. Covers include artists such as Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Alanis, Daughtry, etc...
Clean, professional, and reliable need only inquire. We all have full-time jobs, so although we certainly plan on making money on gigs, this project is considered a hobby project, not a source of income (unless your definition of "source of income" involves sharing a one-room apartment with eight other people).

Feel free to check the music out at http://www.shawnsings.com or at http://www.myspace.com/shawnsings.

Oh, and do you have a great sense of humor? This group loves to laugh.
If you're great, I hope to hear from you.

We need a lead ROCK guitarist!!!

Replyiamtank@rock.com

MOTIVATER is an energetic, almost-all-original hard-rock band who’s in search of its final member: A lead guitarist--at least 25 years old, but preferably in their 30’s or early 40’s--who’s style is somewhere along the lines of GN’R, Poison, Van Halen, AC/DC, and Motley Crue. So far we have a few songs that the singer has brought from previous projects (very rough samples can be found on motivater.50webs.com), plus we have a few others in the works, and other riffs/song ideas that you may have are welcomed as well. Must also have your own transportation and adequate gear, work well with others, and be serious enough to practice once a week, as well as every other Saturday, in Oakdale. Background vocals are a definite plus. Arrogant egos and hardcore alcoholics/junkies please do not apply. If interested, feel free to contact Rob (guitarist) @ 651-338-0120 or Tank (vocalist) @ 763-227-1267 or iamtank@rock.com...

Female Singer Wanted - Great Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for the right person. We are a well established metro area cover band in search of a female that has a strong voice and stage presence. Our set list is about 50% current rock and the rest filled out with some of the best from the 90s, a few 80s and even a few 70s tunes. Artists covered include Pink, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, Green Day, Maroon 5, and many more. .

Of course the new singer will have input on songs going forward. Previous band experience is desired but not required. We know that there are some great singers out there that have never been in a band. The band has averaged 4-6 dates a month for several years, and that will be the expectation going forward. Please reply with a brief bio, and any other relevent experience. Please forward any photos, and song samples you may have. ie. mp3, myspace, youtube etc.

Auditions may start as soon as next week.

Vocalist with Keys wanted for cover band - very casual, fun group in Eden Prairie

posted: November 12, 2009, 06:47 AM

We are a group of 40 somethings, all with professional careers outside of music, and we like to get together 2-3 times a month to play our favorite music. We play out a few times a year- possibly more this winter as we get our set together again after some changes to the line up.

We all appreciate playing the tunes very well, sounding great and having a good time. Playing gigs is very much secondary. If you're like us- all played in bands when we were younger, did the gigging thing and now have real jobs but a desire to pick up the axe now and then, maybe you'd be a good fit. We really want a singer first and foremost- if you have keyboard skills- all the better- it will help us expand our set.

We are 2 guitars, bass and drums and all have pro gear, and a great place to practice. Hit me up if you're interested.

Singer Wanted - Metal

Home recording project in need of a vocalist to help write / record vocs for our tunes. We have around 40 - 50 songs in various stages of completion ranging from strong ideas to finished tracks with lyrics.

The ideal candidate would be able to tackle vocals the likes of Warrel Dane and Bruce Dickinson as well as Chuck Billy and Phil Anselmo and would be available for writing / recording one to two times per month ( weekends ) or as time allows.

We're hoping to shop our stuff out there on the Web an although there are no real plans to play out just yet, we are open to whatever the future brings.

Check out our stuff at: www.myspace.com/everblackmetal

FUTURE Grammy STARS Produced by OCTANE-Records-Music.com!

SEATTLE, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Hear the difference at Octane Records with signed Recording Artists that now include the following New Artists: Aziel, Jailbird, HUD, Heath, Mr. Rakafela, Maggot Brain, and Octane featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rakaoctane1), and Snoop Dogg (http://www.rogueisland.com). Produced By Brent DeRocher for Octane Records.

Most people will never forget Aziel for his chart-topping hit "Fall In Love Again." The day it hit KCCN FM 100, Hawaii's premier radio station, it immediately made its way onto the daily "Top 5 at 5," becoming the number-one most requested song for six weeks. Another hit followed - a remake of Stevie Wonder's "Ribbon In The Sky." Listeners couldn't get enough of Aziel's silky R&B voice. Aziel is currently seeking full radio rotation on all mainstream USA radio stations for his album "Take You Away" that features music-writing and production by multi-platinum legendary songwriter LeRoy Martez Bell, and music writer Linton Weems. With several hit songs and "GROUNDBREAKING" industry sound, this project commands a space within the R&B community.

Aziel Toeaina, born January 1, 1978 in San Francisco, California, is a musical genius who can switch from his R&B delivery to Hip Hop and Rap, unlike many artists on the market today. Aziel's critics say he may be as good as Usher and Justin Timberlake. Aziel also plans on being a Grammy Nominee and a Grammy Winner in the very near future.

Jailbird, born Jeffrey Sayer in 1978 in Olympia, Washington, is destined to be a rap superstar; the kind of superstar that understands a good hook, strong songwriting and the importance of a great performance. Jailbird's critics say he may be as good as Eminem. Jailbird is a Rap Artist that plans on being a Grammy Nominee.

HUD was born Anthony Hudson in Memphis, Tennessee in April of 1971. A Rap Artist who loves performing, HUD began entertaining in early 1986 at talent shows. His mother, who fell upon hard times while HUD was young, was a former background singer for the likes of B. B. King and other popular Memphis recording artists and is credited for introducing HUD to the profession of music.

Mr. Rakafela, born Alvin E. Kirton III in Oakland, California in July of 1973, was highly influenced in the early 1990s by the success of Tupac Shakur and Shock G from Digital Underground. Being deeply rooted in Tupac and Digital's cliques, Mr. Rakafela developed a Funk/Hip Hop mix which he displays in his latest masterpiece, "Tale of a New Legend" featuring Shock G, Humpty Hump, and Jailbird.

I write lyrics and rap. Looking for other local artists to collab with. I'm open to all genres of music. My influences include but not limited to Kanye West, Immortal Technique, Bone Thugs, and Lupe Fiasco. I have attended school for Audio Production for a short time. I wouldn't call myself a singer, but can hold a tune and harmonize. I don't have any recorded work, but am definitely open to meeting and showing my skills face to face. If you'd be interested in working with me, please reply with a little about yourself and the kind of music you do. Thanks!!!
