Whether you're a health and safety professional or just an average citizen who wants to be ready to handle a medical emergency, we have an American Red Cross to meet your needs. We offer the best CPR, AED, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens instruction in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis - St. Paul) area.

All of our classes are taught by an emergency medical technician (EMT) with 24 years of experience teaching these classes. You will receive full Red Cross certification upon successful completion of your class.

Here are the basic-level CPR and First Aid classes that are coming up soon at our training center in St. Paul:

Adult CPR, Saturday, December 5, 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.

Adult CPR/AED, Saturday, December 5, 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.

Child-Infant CPR, Monday and Tuesday, December 7 and 8, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Standard First Aid, Wednesday, December 9, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Adult CPR, Monday, December 14, 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.

Adult CPR/AED, Monday, December 14, 12:00 noon - 5:00 p.m.

Taking two of the above December classes, back-to-back, you'll save $30 in registration fees and also save time (due to an overlap in curriculum).

We also offer professional-level classes. They include "CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider" (the equivalent of the American Heart Association "BLS Healthcare Provider" class) and "CPR/AED for Lifeguards"):

Certification Class

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider, Monday and Tuesday, December 14 and 15, 6:00 - 10:15 p.m.

CPR/AED for Lifeguards, Monday and Tuesday, December 14 and 15, 6:00 - 10:15 p.m.

Recertification Class (for qualified students only)

PR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider-Review, Wednesday and Thursday, December 16 and 17, 6:30 - 9:45 p.m.

CPR/AED for Lifeguards-Review, Wednesday and Thursday, December 16 and 17, 6:30 - 9:45 p.m.

Get (Re)certified in CPR/AED for Health and Safety Professionals

If you are a nurse, paramedic, EMT, lifeguard or any other health and safety professional, you know you're required to become -- and remain -- certified in an advanced CPR/AED class. To comply with that requirement, you have a choice between American Red Cross and American Heart Association certifications.

CPR-Twin Cities is an authorized provider of Red Cross classes in the Twin Cities area. Our next recertification class in "CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider" and "CPR/AED for Lifeguards" is on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. (with a one-hour lunch break.) To qualify for this review class, you must have successfully completed one of those classes, or the Heart Association's BLS Healthcare Provider equivalent, within the past two years.

Our next certification class is on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 17 and 18, from 6:00 until 10:15 p.m.

Certification for professional rescuers and healthcare providers is now good for two years. Lifeguard certification, however, continues to be good for one year only.

At CPR-Twin Cities, we offer you a choice of attending scheduled classes in our St. Paul (Highland Park) training center, or having classes brought to you at work (or even in the comfort of your own living room). Our scheduled classes are listed on our Web site at www.CPR-TwinCities.com.

To join a class as an individual -- or to set up a class for a group -- please respond here. Or call (651) 699-3333 for further information.
