Responsible for working with business areas, project teams, IT technical teams, and vendors to ensure high quality project delivery services and application support. In addition to core accountabilities, this position serves in one or more roles including IT Strategy, Idea Management and Application Development. Responsible for identifying emerging technologies and establishing an innovation pipeline. Develops integrated solutions to unique or highly complex problems with a broad technical and business context of significant impact. Contributes to the development of a functional strategy. This role requires a hands:on, proactive individual who has a natural affinity for new technologies while being at ease in a business conversation.
:Own development of features end:to:end.
:Define, document, negotiate, communicate, own, and deliver a platform roadmap, from implementing new features, to refactoring existing architecture, to collaborating with others to bring prototypes into a complete state.
:Identify emerging technologies and establish an innovation pipeline.
:Work independently and in partnership with technology platform leads to identify and drive the adoption of innovative processes and technologies to support business strategy.
:Work with technical staff to understand unique or highly complex software problems involving many varied factors to be interpreted and considered, frequently of broad scope.
:Effectively mentor and lead a team of software developers including their projects and performance.
:Contribute to and lead design, architecture, process, and development of platform.
:Distill and communicate technical concepts to the team and other stakeholders.
:Foster a constructive dialogue and argue for the right outcomes with data, conviction, and diplomacy.
:Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections. Assist in the development of software user manuals and/or demonstrates software.
:Consult with business areas and IT technical resources regarding requirements, system scope, objectives, integration and solutions based on user needs.
:Support and perform maintenance on new or existing software products, understanding application integration points and trouble:shooting production problems.
:Assist project manager in developing estimates and technology requirements.
:Engage in root cause analysis as it relates to either the application or the product.
:May assist in the development of Service Level Agreements.
:Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science and 7 years of experience in application development/integration or 11 years of experience in application development/integration lieu of a degree.
