Fearless is an existing program for the organization in it’s infancy and needs a highly motivated self starter to execute upon the program’s vision. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to create a financially sustainable program for The BrandLab. It is a creative role designed for a tireless advocate. Fearless and the marketing industry needs a passionate individual who believes all organizations have the capacity, when given the right tools, to create inclusive and equitable workplaces where all can thrive.
The Fearless Director advances the BrandLab’s mission by partnering with organizations to meet our call to action to increase the diversity rate in the industry by three to five percent per year until it matches the demographics of our community.
The Fearless Director, by nature, is curious about others, responds to learners without judgement and meets people where they are as the develop their cultural responsiveness. The ideal candidate knows how to assess learning, develop tools to increase learner’s skills, and measure impact and growth over time.
This role is for a talented builder who is a master at building positive relationships with TBL stakeholders, our Fearless clients, as well as community and business leaders.
This is a full time time position with PTO, flexible work schedule, health benefits, competitive salary. The BrandLab is a tiny team with a might reach- all members of the team support and collaborate effectively. Teamwork is not a catch phrase at The BrandLab. Teamwork is a value we live by daily. A successful TBL employee is ready for anything, admits when they need help, cheers on other members and is never too busy to help the team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to all areas of Fearless Programming: Consultancy & Workshops, Podcast, Annual Conversation, and State of the Industry Report.

Fearless Workshops & Consultancy:

Manage all aspects of the income generating Fearless work.
Research and create marketing industry relevant trainings
Customize content to meet specific client needs.
Review and refine curriculum on an ongoing basis to ensure relevancy.
Attend relevant D&I trainings, build relationships with other D&I practitioners to ensure TBL is following best practice methodology.
Develop tools for clients to adopt to measure effectiveness for recruitment, hiring, retention and ultimately effectiveness of campaigns.
Refresh and refine content based on client feedback and needs.
Recruit, maintain, and manage volunteers from the Fearless Leadership Team.
Develop assessment tools to measure effectiveness of program.
Analyze results of the assessment to help tell the Fearless story.
Project Management

Schedule all trainings and meetings with clients.
Inspire and utilize volunteers to lead and co- facilitate training modules.
Business Development
In partnership with the Development Director continuously identify prospects.
Collaborate with Development Director to ensure outreach is aligned with other critical needs of TBL programs.
Consistently work to position TBL as a leader in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion networks.
Attend relevant trainings and networking events to secure new leads.
Work, in partnership with Executive Director, to set goals and metrics for clients.
Fearless Conversation/Podcast:
In partnership with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, develop content for the annual Fearless Conversation.
With support from The BrandLab team, lead the event planning and execution for the biggest TBL event of the year.
Work with partner agency to execute all aspects of the Fearless podcast.
The BrandLab State of the Industry:
Project manage all aspects of the bi-annual survey to measure impact over time.
Plan and execute communications plan to share results with partners and greater Twin Cities market.


Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion expertise and/or education background required.
Experience working in marketing or advertising prefered
Excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and interface within all levels of an organization
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High initiative and ability to work independently, yet collaborate as part of a larger team.
Experience with planning, organizing, and implementing high-quality programs and events.
Ability to multi task and show flexibility in fast paced organizations.
