Provides solution and business process consulting to sales team members and prospects to facilitate closing sales. Identifies specific areas of prospect need and demonstrates how SAP Concur's services and solutions fill those needs. Reports to the Solutions Consulting Manager.
:Deliver demonstrations for all Concur services and solutions
:Prepare to deliver solution demonstrations: Meet with prospects to identify their requirements; Research competitive strengths and weaknesses; Configure software as appropriate to best address prospect issues; Ensure demonstrations are free of complications and targeted toward the prospect's specific business and functional requirements ; Succinctly solve prospect:specific business problems by means of using SAP Concur's solutions
:Strategize with sales team members to identify the most effective approach that will result in the prospect buying SAP Concur's services and solutions.
:Maintain thorough knowledge of SAP Concur's competitors' solutions, company direction, financial stability, etc.
:Keep current with industry events, solution offerings, etc.
:Provide advice and guidance to other Solution Consultants as requested; share knowledge with the greater SC team
:Regularly participate in sales team meetings, account reviews, and strategy calls
:Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of all Concur solutions, updates, functionality, etc.
:Provide input on prospect requirements, gaps and strengths, to Solution Marketing teams as needed
:Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested
:Interact and effectively communicate with sales, marketing and external customers
:Operate under moderate supervision
:Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
Education, Experience and Training required:
:Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience
:2+ years experience in pre:sales functions (e.g. CRM, ERP, etc) or equivalent SAP Concur experience
:Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and/or reconfigure software
:Ability to pass a background check
