About the role:
As a Digital Healthcare Solutions Engineer on the Disease Management team youll be part of a team developing innovative new solutions to significant problems in the healthcare industry. You are a highly:motivated engineering professional who can help us build our Disease Management capabilities and services across a variety of care pathways.
Responsible for updating, designing, defining, implementing and testing system requirements for complex customer systems and/or preparing studies and analyzing existing systems.
Develops new technology, products, or processes with minimal supervision. Independently, or as a member of a team, develops, directs, and executes plans for a major segment of complex projects.
Above all, you are focused on the success of the team and the outcomes of our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
:Designs, defines, implements system requirements, system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters by using current systems engineering methods and technologies.
:Generates innovative and unique solutions to market needs. Work is expected to result in the development of new or refined systems or processes.
:Translates customer needs into requirements and design specifications.
:Responsible for engineering documentation.
:Works cooperatively with Quality, Regulatory, and Marketing on complex projects to ensure project success.
:Interfaces/may act as liasion with vendors/IT/customers to work through system questions/issues.
:Documents system requirements by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
:Tracks system engineering effort by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool.
:Solves system problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions.
:Coordinates, manages, and documents project goals and progress and recommends appropriate revisions.
What were looking for:
:Engineering degree and 7+ years experience in R and D
:Prior experience running projects required, if possible, experience on SAP projects within Finance and R and D
:Medical device, life sciences industry background preferred
:Experience in regulated environment
:Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
:Experience partnering with external vendors and business partners on projects, including working with off:shore and geographically dispersed teams
:Gathering and documentation of requirements
:Test planning, test case development and execution
:Software design, code/configure, build and deploy
:Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
:Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
:Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
:Excellent project and financial acumen
