This position is responsible for identifying, defining and leading best:in:class user interface and experience design across the BCBSMN enterprise. The incumbent will be responsible for understanding and exceeding the user experience needs of the BCBSMN organization and its consumers. The UX Designer will accomplish this by understanding and applying UI and UX best practices, anticipating emerging design trends, constructing and planning user interfaces, prototypes and engaging user experiences, and measuring effectiveness of designs and end products. 13;
:Conceptualize, plan and create user experiences and interfaces across multiple platforms (web and mobile) that are intuitive, engaging and efficient.
:Utilize creative assets to create wireframes, mock:ups, prototypes and final graphics.
:Optimize the appearance and navigability of existing websites and mobile experiences.
:Drive innovative ideas to create and deliver best:in:class user interfaces and experiences that meet BCBSMN organizational and consumer needs.
:Consult and assist business partners with usability and user experience best practices in retail, service and other channels.
:Design collateral materials and interactive content and images as needed.
:Lead or assist in the creation of creative / technical briefs as needed.
:Develop and maintain UI / UX documentation including process flow diagrams, personas, user experience guidelines and style guides.
:Assist in development of key performance indicators to assist enterprise in measuring effectiveness and success of various design / experience factors.
:Research and develop methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies, to position BCBSMN as an industry leader in UX.
:Mentor, provide training and educate professional throughout the organization on emerging UI / UX best practices and market trends.
:Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interface Design or related field 5 years in design roles (designer, art director, creative director).
:Ability to embody BCBSMN values and represent as UI / UX thought leader Experience in working with integrated marketing teams.
:Demonstrated experience and passion for user interface / experience design.
:Significant knowledge of UI/UX design best practices, principles and trends Expertise in Adobe Platform (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) Experience in communicating, organizing, and writing creative / technical briefs.
:Curiosity and a desire to learn Understanding of and willingness to learn core marketing and product management principles, including market analysis, competitive intelligence and requirements development.
