Responsible to analyze data and present recommended actions to management teams. This critical quality position will investigate business problems, determine causes and drive actions to conclusion.
Partners across the business functions to solve difficult challenges. Influences the organization to continually improve processes through knowledge of best:in:class systems, management tools, and techniques.
Major Areas of Accountability:
1.Defines and reports metrics for key processes
2.Develops the measurement techniques, tracks and reports analysis of data, and drives appropriate action based upon resulting performance. Establishes a roadmap for process improvements
Presents analysis of data, metrics and recommendations to a wide:ranging set of audiences
4.Investigates significant events related to material quality, product quality, or EHS incidents to assure effective corrective actions will prevent reoccurrence
5.As appropriate may develop, implement, and improve core quality and/or EHS processes. Analyzes and recommends best practices to achieve global process alignment in the Quality and EHS Management Systems, and assists with cross functional and geographic implementation
6.May represent MTS in the support of customer and/or regulatory audits. Drives closure coordination of reported non:conformities
BS in Engineering with 5 years of professional experience working in a Quality organization
Ability to concurrently organize and lead multiple improvement teams and to deliver on assignments
Excellent interpersonal skills required for working across multiple:functional organization lines and geographies
Strong analytical and problem:solving skills
Ability to prioritize assignments and multi:task, as well as being a self:starter
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and communication skills to a wide:ranging set of audiences
Strong computer knowledge, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Ability to travel (up to 15)
Previous Quality or EHS leadership role in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
Lean and Six Sigma experience and certification preferred
Certified Quality Engineer preferred
Experience in using JMP/Minitab preferred
