The Programming Analyst 2 is responsible for production support, project implementation, and maintenance for all systems and applications central to running SPIREs business including, but not limited to: * In house Core Banking Platform * Product Origination software * Online Banking * Mobile Banking App * Accounting and profitability systems * Imaging software * Card and ATM processing * Data Warehouse * Reporting tools Production support * Must participate in 24/7 on call rotation * Must resolve assigned daily production break/fix tickets or system inquiries from our business partners Project Implementation * Implement projects ranging from small enhancement to those with multiple integrated systems * Participation in all phases of the project life cycle with emphasis on design, development and testing System maintenance * Release Implementation * Support Hardware upgrades * Job automation and scheduling * Documentation of system architecture Identify and implement best practices to protect data Develop and test plans to support systems disaster recovery Required Skills: * College degree (preferably in computer science or related area) * 3 5 years of similar programming experience * Ability to use a wide variety of third-party technologies, applications and tools * Ability to code and script reliably * Experience with Unix, Linux and Windows systems * COBOL (PL1) Programming experience * Experience with IT operations and support * Comfort with frequent and incremental coding, testing, and deployment * Understanding of automation and automation tools, including task scheduling tools * Experience with both relation and non-relational data bases * Data management skills * A focus on successful business outcomes * Effective collaboration and communication skills * Problem solving and creative thinking skills * Microsoft SQL Server Experience, SSRS * Understanding of Microsoft Products, Excel and Access Preferred Skills * Knowledge of Symitars Episys core processing and PowerOn coding * JavaScript and HTML experience * Financial Industry Experience * Microsoft SQL, SSIS and SSAS * Java knowledge All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
