Job Description:/h3:
We have been in business since 1991. We are an outsourced IT support and consulting company. We are located in Golden Valley, MN. We provide IT support, consulting, deployment, security and monitoring for our clients. The culture is fun, fast:paced and full of variety. Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist team in proactively monitoring and troubleshooting managed networks and devices.
Assist team in monitoring ticketing queue, support requests, professionally document in system.
Provide remote and on:site server/workstation support and maintenance.
Project work including new workstations, servers, firewalls, switches, wireless installs, migrations, office moves and more.
Work with the team to get the job done and provide clients with a high level of service.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2:year degree with IT related courses or equivalent work experience plus 2+ years IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service.
Self:motivated.
Disciplined and focused.
Great memory and attention to detail.
Understands the need for good documentation for the team/clients.
Cautious and recognizes and mitigates risk.
Curious and crave to learn and understand.
Transportation to work and client sites.
Technical
knowledge/experience requirements
Windows Server administration knowledge.
Windows Domain fundamentals.
DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy
Advanced Windows 7:10 knowledge. Office suite support experience.
Mac experience or ability and willingness to learn and advance.
Workstation installs including complete data and settings migration.
Demonstrated ability to create thorough and accurate documentation.
Experience working with ticketing software and knowledge of standard support methods and procedures.
Off hours duties:
Rotating on:call duties. Approximately 1 week every 4:6 weeks.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends when needed.
Other experience a plus:
Server hardware: RAID controllers, SNMP, iLO, iDRAQ, management and monitoring.
Office 365 support and
management/administration.
Hardware firewalls. WatchGuard, SonicWALL, Fortigate...
Server Backup and recovery.
Network security.
VMware and Hyper:V.
Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Server/Citrix/VDI
SAN/iSCSI/NAS.
vLAN/Layer 2:3 switching.
SharePoint.
Exchange Server.
SQL Server.
Domain
registrar/DNS/CNAME/A/SPF record understanding.
Wireless networking: Unifi, Ruckus, etc.
Compliance: HIPAA, PCI
