This role will be accountable for inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing problems on all industrial and facility related equipment. Position will support 1st shift with scheduled hours from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. but must also having willingness to work flexible hours when business needs dictate.
:PerformPM inspections on all industrial production and building related equipment.
:Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair problems on all industrial production and facility related equipment including CNC machines, Lasers, and Robotic Welders.
:Hazardous waste disposal, with proper training and equipment.
:Execute general maintenance workorders.
:Record repairs, PM tasks, workorders, etc. in Preventative Maintenance software.
:Maintain, adjust, and test facility heating boilers, cooling towers, chillers, water treatmentsystems, and HVAC equipment.
:Monitor outsidecontractor performance.
:Participate in and support Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
:High school education orequivalent AND
:3:8 years of related experience withIndustrial Automated Systems Maintenance, Metal Fabrication Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
:2 year vocational school degree from an accredited college witha certificate in one of the following trades: Industrial Maintenance, Automated Industrial Systems, Industrial pneumatic/electronic controls, HVAC, plumbing, electricity,welding, fluid power, or mechanics AND
:2:5 years of related experience withIndustrial Automated Systems Maintenance, Metal Fabrication Equipment Maintenance, Equipment Repair and Maintenance.
:Must obtain a Special Engineer State of Minnesota Low Pressure Boiler License within 90 days of employment as a Maintenance Mechanic.
:The ideal candidate will have a considerable command of automated industrial and mechanical equipment.
:Previous experience in computerized maintenance management software.
:Tennant is willing to train internal candidate who possesses related skill sets and is willing to seek external training.
:Ability to diagnose failures in various pieces of Production/Facility related equipment using the appropriate hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
:Ability to use electronic and mechanical diagnostic equipment, precision:measuring and testing instruments.
:Ability to perform regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on all industrial production and facility related equipment including lubrication and coolant procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance.
:Basic understanding of CNC equipment including but not limited to; Fanuc, Allen Bradley and Rockwell controls.
:Ability to perform basic repairs using manual machining and welding equipment.
REQUIRED PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
:Frequent use ofladders, personal lifts at heights of up to 35 feet, and operation ofvarious maintenance shop tools and equipment.
