Job Description
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 2 Months
Summary: Assist Rebate Center Management in the delivery and administration of existing and new energy efficiency programs by offering internal support for successful implementation of assigned projects. Verifies general and complex CIP rebate applications and supporting documentation. Responsible for validating data entry inputs and generating rebate payment reports in Excel. Answer general energy efficiency rebate program and rebate processing questions and respond to Rebate Center email box inquiries as requested.

:Accountable for verifying and qualifying a high volume of rebate requests by checking for application completeness; proof of purchase and installation, confirm installation location and ensure equipment, service or measure eligibility.
:Input data or verify online rebate submissions and record qualified rebates and conservation program participation within two weeks of receipt of request.
:Validate rebate data entries to ensure that all program requirements were met and the correct incentives are paid to the customer and/or trade ally.
:Generate and distribute Excel extract reports to authorize rebate payments to customers.
:Generate manual or system generated customer correspondence.
Responds to customer and trade ally inquiries concerning general energy efficiency program and rebate processing questions in a timely manner.
Works with other departments to ensure customer needs are met while complying with applicable procedures or policies.

Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent knowledge of English, basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and the calculation of fractions and/or percentages), grammar and punctuation

Requires a minimum of 1 year of basic Excel report generation experience.
Requires a minimum of 1 year of high volume data entry experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills,
Licenses/Certifications, Abilities and Personal Characteristics:
:Demonstrated ability to key a large volume of data with a high degree of accuracy.
Must possess comprehensive computer skills associated with mainframe computer applications including SAP, Word, Excel and Access with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
Ability to understand and interpret complex equipment or service invoices and determine if the customer is eligible for a rebate.
:Able to have a strong understanding of Regulatory requirements.
Able to deal effectively and professionally with external customers and trade allies by telephone and email.
Possess excellent clerical aptitude, organizational skills and maintaining hard copy and computer based filing systems.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide range of contacts including Marketing and Product Management, Trade Ally Management and Sales, Accounts Payable, and Regulatory Management and Administration.

Physical Requirements:
Able to operate a personal computer either desktop or laptop.
Able to sit for extended periods of time.
Able to view a personal computer monitor for extended periods of time
Working Conditions:
Able to work indoors in an office environment.
Able to work with moderate to high daily pressure.
Able to meet deadlines.

Able to work overtime if needed
