Retail Store Managers are responsible for managing all operational aspects of a company:owned retail store. The primary objective will be to achieve or exceed sales plan for the store. An ideal candidate will have previous retail leadership experience, strong verbal selling skills, strong sense of urgency, ability to adapt to change, ability to train and motivate employees and the strong proficiency with using point of sale systems, hand:held devices and Windows operating systems.

RETAIL STORE MANAGER (SM) DAILY DUTIES
:Managing Hallmark store to meet and exceed companys brand including store management, team development, customer service
:Managing store operations, employee and leadership development, and other responsibilities as needed, other duties may be assigned
:Developing excellent customer service, developing and executing events and services, effective management and development of human resources, efficient payroll management and pro:active loss prevention management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED):
:A high school diploma, GED, equivalent or higher.
:1+ year of retail experience.
:Ability to continuously stand/walk; frequently push/pull; occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/kneel; climb a ladder, and carry up to 40 pounds; i.e., fixture parts and cartons.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE):
:3+ years of retail store manager experience with a dynamic and complex specialty retailer.
:Proficiency and comfort using a computer and other technology.
:Business acumen to reach established financial goals.
:Strong verbal selling skills.
:Organizational and time management skills.
:Leadership and interpersonal skills : the ability to train and motivate employees.
:Flexibility : the ability to adapt to change.
:A strong sense of urgency.
:Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
