**This is a defined term role for approximately 12 months in duration. Defined Term Boston Scientificemployees are eligible for most benefits including medical, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays.
About the role:
Develops, establishes and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Provides focused quality engineering support within sustaining engineering to ensure the delivery of the highest quality product to the customer.
Your responsibilities include:
:Works within a team to identify and implement effective controls to provide ongoing support for commercialized products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
:Lead in the testing, verifying and validating new and updated designs to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.
:Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
:Apply sound, systematic problem:solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
:Assure in the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
What we're looking for:
:2:4years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering or related discipline.
:Must be willing to travel as required (10)
:Electrical Systems experience with knowledge of IEC60601:1, 60601:1:2, and 62304 preferred.
:Strong knowledge of risk management and design controls required.
:Root cause investigation
:Excellent written and verbal communication
:Ability to prioritize effectively
:Medical device industry experience
:Electrical Systems (development and sustaining)
