Overview: Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Associate are to administer the processes and procedures associated with payments from HelpSystems customers. The Accounts Receivable Associate works closely with Accounts Receivable Specialists and Sales Support to ensure customer accounts remain current, accurate and organized at all times. The Accounts Receivable Associate administers various internal processes to ensure successful customer experiences throughout the payment cycle. Responsibilities include: Maintain customer accounts according to company policy in a current, accurate and organized condition at all times.Request and process tax exemption certificates and withholding tax certificates.Process customer refunds in accordance with HelpSystems protocol.Review and file purchase orders sent to HelpSystems.Create electronic invoices and administer e-invoicing process.Perform maintenance on vendor portal websites and complete administrative tasks associated with vendor signups.Perform credit card payment transactions by phone for domestic and international customers.Initiate and pursue collection of past due invoices via collection calls and collection letter series. Timely follow up is essential to collecting payments and enforcing payment terms.Document all customer interactions. Required Qualifications: 2-year degree preferredExcellent oral and written communication skills, detail oriented, flexible, strong analytical and negotiation skillsAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities, take directions and be able to work both independently and as a team memberAbility to maintain customer confidentiality and handle customers in a tactful mannerExcellent customer service skillsProfessional appearance and demeanor when dealing with internal and external customers, including those in foreign countries.Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications WHY WORK FOR HELPSYSTEMS?
